OCEN Scholarship
Charis Classical Academy has partnered with Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN SGO) to provide scholarships to Charis students. Through OCEN’s Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO), students attending a membering school can apply for scholarships to help cover their cost of tuition.
To provide these scholarships, OCEN SGO depends on donations. Any funds that you donate can be directed to your school of choice.
Donations are eligible for a tax credit on Ohio income tax:
Up to $750 for individuals
Up to $1,500 for couples
Donations are COST-FREE, as they offset Ohio income tax owed, up to the stated limits.
Any funds donated above the tax credit can then be used as a charitable donation and deducted from your federal taxes (for questions consult your tax professional).
You have until the tax filing deadline, April 15th, to make your donation and still have it count towards your 2024 tax filing!

Donate to help Charis Students
To donate today, please click to visit Charis Classical Academy’s OCEN SGO and follow the directions below.
- Click “create an account” on the top bar to create an account.
- Once signed in, Click on “Donate Now”
- Fill out the online donation form.
- Don’t forget to add your spouse's information when donating to allow the maximum amount of $1500.
- Be sure to specify your donation to Charis Classical Academy in the drop-down selection box.
After you make your gift, an email receipt will be sent. A tax letter can be downloaded from your account that will contain the names of both donors if a spouse is listed on the form.
