Upper Logic School (7th-8th Grade)

Our 7th-8th Grade Upper Logic courses meet Tuesdays and Thursdays for 55 minutes each with an additional 1/2 day of academic courses on Mondays (not all academic courses will meet on Mondays). Students at this age continue to hone their critical thinking skills and master sound reasoning.  They utilize the foundation that has been built during their grammar years and begin to look at relationships and analyze “how” facts fit together.  Ultimately, our hope is that students will begin to understand and embrace truth.  Courses taken during the logic years begin to tie subjects together in a way that examines all learning through the lens of a biblical worldview, teaching wisdom and virtue through great literature and the study of Scripture. Subjects covered in the Upper Logic Grades are:

  • Bible, Math, Literature, Composition/Grammar, History, Science, and Latin
